It rained on and off all day today, the kind of soft, warm showers that make it seem like the flowers are stretching up to catch a drink. We stayed mostly inside, playing and eating soup. When the clouds would break, we'd go out to enjoy some of our favorite spring activities: splashing in puddles and making mud pies. Here are some of our other favorite things about this spring:
1. Chickens. We are now the proud owners of four chickens. Live ones! We're raising them in a coop in our back yard and are currently accepting name suggestions and pre-orders on fresh eggs from the Berberick Family Farm.
2. Swinging!
3. Hunting for Easter eggs.
5. Being silly.
6. Taking time to smell the roses.
