Change is the Only Constant

From the moment you discover you're going to have a baby, the thought hits you: things will never be the same. For someone like me, a hyper-planning over-organizer with a penchant for spreadsheets and sanitizing wipes, that presents some problems.

But I've come to love this sometimes-crazy train called parenthood. Things can go off the rails, but if you manage to hold on, it can be the best ride of your life.

Our family has undergone some notable changes recently with the arrival of Chloe Mae. You'll notice some changes around here, too. What was once "All About Avery" is now a place to feature stories of our growing family. Our hope is that some day we'll all look back on these stories and remember how fun it was to embrace the chaos that is our life.
